Do you think you could be exhausted?

Svrider · 07/10/2012 14:08

AThingInYourLife · 07/10/2012 14:08

Are you not even a bit excited by the idea of not being pregnant anymore? :o

quoteunquote · 07/10/2012 14:14

You should be excited, that in six weeks you will be able to reach your toes, and be able to have a bath without forming a dam.

YerMaw1989 · 07/10/2012 14:24

I just feel like very erm, numb and sort of meh.

I also have six weeks to go and I am a little bit excited at times but mostly just tired! Anyway there's the birth to get through first, not too excited about that part!

With DC1 I was sick and exhausted throughout the entire pregnancy. I was not even the TINIEST bit excited. It's a bit hard to feel much emotion when you feel like death warmed up the whole time.

YANBU. I hope you're feeling better soon.

redexpat · 07/10/2012 19:18

I was very meh the whole way through pregnancy. Not at all excited.

aldiwhore · 07/10/2012 19:27

I was totally excited until I got pregnant, and then I just felt shit, both times... YANBU!!!

And you will love your children as much as anyone else. I even wore dungarees and pigtails to try and 'feel' pregnant and blooming, I just looked stupid and felt bloated, fat and sick.

Your excitement levels have nothing to do with how good you are as a parent!

YerMaw1989 · 08/10/2012 12:07

maybe I should get some dungarees lol

I have shit pregnancies too maybe that's a reason. people talk about 'expanding their families' and I'm like great another 9 months of hurling and getting fat.
