Morning all, last night baby would not sleep, so I took her downstairs so I wouldn't wake dh and 2 yr old. 5 oclock this morning dh and toddler come down and wake me and baby up. Dh then proceeds to fall asleep on the sofa and leaves me with the dc. AIBU to be sulking right now? Xx

Shock YANBU. I would have the right hump.

Floralnomad · 30/09/2012 10:35

I wouldn't be wasting time sulking ! I'd give him the DCs and be doing whatever I wanted to do. Bloody cheek!

My husband has done this too when we had just DS1 & it did make me fume. He's been very good since DS2 was born though so am hoping it stays that way or I may be doing time! Grin

Yanbu - although if your toddler is anything like mine it might have been difficult to keep them quiet. You did the nightshift so I'd say your dh should be giving you a rest now.
Id let the kids make noise to wake him up and then leave him to it.

My dh and I take turns over the weekend so that we both get a rest. That works until dd is unwell and only wants mummy.

I have a 10 year old and a 13 year old. They have just woken up. there is light at the end of the tunnel if you can wait a few years. i remember those days well when the Sunday started at 'oh no o'clock' like every other day. Sad

Don't faff around bathing. Go to sleep quick. Earplugs in.

flutesgolden · 30/09/2012 10:48
