...and make her 15 year old sister get up and wait for our new telly to be delivered. I will cross teenagers palm with silver (well, a tenner which I was planning to give her anyway) and it means we can get out the house.

I would expect a 15 year old to be able to get up and mooch around to wait for a delivery without them being given money for doing it.

Does she even need to get up? Assuming your doorbell's loud enough to wake her, we'd normally get dressed and go back to bed if it was early.

Check the terms of delivery first, when I got mines delivered it needed an adult signature.

FizzyLaces · 29/09/2012 10:26

That is not clear on the (Amazon) website Timrous and the reason I am reluctant. Doorbell broken! She def won't hear knocking if she is asleep. And Mamma, she would do it for no money but I just got paid so am feeling flush.

Can't see a problem with it, a tenner is way too generous thoughGrin
Just make sure its not to be signed for though as she may have to be 18 or over
