I have a feeling I am being unreasonable but my mum can be so annoying. DS is 2.4 years. We live near my parents but it is always me that makes the effort to go to their house to see them/makes contact. So much so that I can't remember the last time they just popped over to see their grandson. Since they got phone and internet savvy they only email/text and never telephone either. I keep telling myself that I won't bother with them and actually see how long it would be before they make contact but then I give in as DS does love seeing them. What's really annoyed me this evening was that I emailed them to tell them DS had been unwell this weekend and I get a curt email back saying sorry to hear that and I should make sure his back is covered in this cold weather!!!!! 
Now this simple statement has left me fuming and even more determinded than ever to leave things for a while and let them make an effort. I'm totally over reacting right?
