I have an 11 week old little boy,Last night he slept right through the night for the first time ever 9 till 7,he did have his 11.30pm bottle and went down a treat. This morning we got up he was fed and dressed by 8.30 then I came down and went on the cross trainer for 20 mins then had a shower and them got dressed and had weatabix and a banana all by 10 am,I will be sitting down at 1 oclock to have a ham sandwhich and a peice of my mums homemade carrot cake she brought round last night.

I dont want to tell anyone in rl as I know this prob wont happen again if I do.Im so pleased with myself but on the other hand lm dreading tomorrow incase it all goes back to hit and miss.I never usually have lunch or exercise but need to now,esp if Im gonna be eating cake............

That's not bragging, it's just appreciating it when everything falls in to place.

Enjoy it!

LurkeyLurkerson · 17/09/2012 12:33

Enjoy it! Grin

DD2 slept through for four nights in a row at that age. Hasn't done it since

YANBU to brag - it's always awesome as a new mum to get more sleep Smile

However, in my opinion YAB slightly U to have this expectation for such a tiny baby. It's perfectly normal for babies to wake frequently during the first year, so relax and don't pressure yourself or him too much.

FarrowAndBollock · 17/09/2012 12:35

Wow! Enjoy the cake.

EverlongYouAreGoldAndOrange · 17/09/2012 12:36

Fabulous!
I'm impressed with you and your little baby Smile

YANBU! Enjoy it, I hope it lasts Smile

It's generally chaos surrounded by piles of unfolded laundry at my home.

featherbag · 17/09/2012 12:43

YANBU, enjoy!!! DS is almost a year and started sleeping through (not wanting a bottle at midnight) about 10 days ago, and has done so since, you really just don't appreciate what an achievement it feels like until it happens!

missmatched · 17/09/2012 12:50

Badgerina l dont expect him to sleep that long we usually get up at 5am but those extra 2 hours wow, even haveing time to exercise wow l feel almost normal again.l do know he prob wont sleep through again till hes now 11 years old knowing my luck. But at the moment I will bask in my little energy bubble.

I'm glad you're feeling so good, but I think it is always unreasonable to brag!

AGoldenOrange · 17/09/2012 12:59

YABU only because I'm jealous Grin

DD never slept more then 2 hours at that age. Hope it continues Smile
