AIBU to think dominos should provide you with TWO free garlic and herb dips when you order a large pizza. I know theyre only 45p but it gets on my nerves!

we will never eat from there again.. 4 of us had it last week and all of us were really really sick for 2 days afterwards. urgh

I love them and order 3 for £1 every time, so I usually have a few stashed in the fridge. But lots of weirdos don't like them.

Oh, it's about pizzas, I was hoping to see how a thread about a game of dominoes would play out in AIBU.

I had visions of strip dominoes and everything.

My delivery driver always chucks in an extra dip . I think he fancies me (or maybe DH)

Pizza Hut's dip is 50p!

wandering I really cant believe you just simply throw them out! do you have a substitute dip or do you just do without any dip??

What you need to do is get yourself a squeezy bottle of Heinz Garlic Sauce. They're on 2 for £2 at Asda at the moment (225g bottles).

No substitute, pizza doesn't need dip! DH sometimes opens one of the other dips that comes with a side order (BBQ I think) but then he's always doing something or other wrong so I just roll my eyes and let him get on with it :)

Never felt the need to dip my pizza...but a large pizza probably does require two dips. Therefore YANBU

I always get sick after a dominos pizza too.

For balance though, if it helps, I was pretty grotty after a visit to pizza hut too.

Dipping crusts in the dip is the best bit. If they just sold the crusts with no pizza in the middle, I'd probably buy them.

I always buy extra dips from Dominos so I can use the extra ones on supermarket pizza.

My cat goes crackers for the garlic and herb dip.

Last year the Dominos driver parked a bit erratically on my drive and roughed up the grass a bit. I left feedback on their website about it and they phoned me and offered a free large pizza sides and dessert. I took it of course. Yummo.

Wish i hadnt read this thread now. About an hour and a half ago i had my very first Pizza Hut pizza. (we ussually order from Dominos) PH sent two garlic dips with it.

The garlic and herb dip is the only one I like, and they keep putting bloody barbeque dip in with my potato wedges. Cruelty, I tell you!

Can't stand dipping pizza - but the BBQ dip is yummy with the chicken strippers.
Dominos were giving away free dips at an event today. My DCs fought over the garlic and herb one - and then rejected it after a tiny taste.

I bet the delivery driver spat on it (at best) though stresshead !

And it was stuffed crust and i had a side order of garlic bread. Ive never had so much garlic in my life. It must be oozing from every pore.

I agree with the stingy dip policy and feel embarrassed ordering a small XYZ then muttering "and three extra dips please". (I REALLY like them)

However, I cannot fault Dominos as my old local one used to let my class come down once a year FREE and make their own personal sized pizza and take it back to school. It was the most anticipated trip of the year :D (But cringey when I had to go down there with the kids, knowing the previous weekend I'd been in there pissed and trying to sound coherent)

Ferret actually that's a good idea as it saves my other pet hate - paying the delivery chap! Can't bear the tip/no tip/tiny tip embarrassment! :)
