I have just spend a very frustrating morning on the phone to Debenhams. I ordered several items of clothes online in one order, tempted by their promise of a courier collection for returns. Some of the items were really nice, but I wanted to return a couple. Having waited 10 min in a phone queue just to book the courier, it turns out that two items needs to be returned by courier to one distribution centre, and one item comes from a different centre so I have to take it to the Post Office myself and post it to an entirely different place. It also came with no returns label, so it wasn't clear you had to do this, it was only when I spent wasted 15 minutes on the phone, that the true complex procedure for returns became apparent.
I shop online as I am a busy person, and because it seemed easy. Now, being on the phone for ages, staying in for the courier one day, going to the Post Office the next, I may as well have walked to the bloody shop and purchased the items!
AIBU to expect that when I place one order, and want to return some of it, that there is one returns label and one returns destination!
