have you not got a shop near you who uses security tags , they would have a magnet thing to remove it , take your receipt to prove you bought it . worth a try maybe?

princessclaradoll · 12/09/2012 17:51

Can you elaborate?

its not an ink kind, looks pretty flimsy but what exactly do i do with magnets???

Just leave it on, let her open it and then take it back when you have time?

princessclaradoll · 12/09/2012 17:55

Think i may have to go for that option Worra, how rubbish though! Damn you H&M!

Hit it hard with a hammer, or put a magnet next to the plastic side, it need to be quite a strong magnet.

Startailoforangeandgold · 12/09/2012 18:01

I'd give it her then sort it.
DH is very, very practical and even he found getting those rings off a pain.

There are You Tube videos on how to remove security tags just for this purpose not shoplifters

princessclaradoll · 12/09/2012 18:20

contemplated the hammer option but when i had a closer look there is actually a hole right next to where the tag is - going back to the shop for sure!
