I just can't bear the symbolism of putting them away and admitting that the summer that never was is gone Anyone else mourning the unavoidable passing of their sandals?

I don't ditch my Tevas until at least November.

I simply cannot take my flip flops off until the rain is seeping over the top of them or the frost/snow is freezing my feet.

gawd no, I'm in SW and is quite cold today but the ff are staying for now. Isn't sep supposed to be warm anyway.

I normally wear my Birki's through til October-ish, but have been wearing my converse the last couple of days. It's sooo cold here just now!

I wait until my toes turn blue the weather has definitely turned to discard them for another year.

I have a toe that goes into the other and it's so sodding painful in closed shoes no matter how short i cut the nail

Feet suddenly swollen + me heavily pregnant and overheating = flip flops for the next few weeks regardless of weather!

I am a fitflop addict and wear them unless it's actually snowing. However, my new suede clog style ones have arrived so I still don't have to wear socks or tights all year!

I'm also an avid fitflop wearer. Funny enough I just googled their new shoes but think they are rather ugly [very dissapointed emicon].

I like the small closed in wedge shape but why oh why do they have a band at the front!

It is admitting summer's over though. I can't do that just yet, it's not Oct yet.
Is a bit chilly though.

I am still in summer clothes - can't bear to wear something which actually covers my legs (doesn't help that ihave put on so much weight over the summer that my jeans don't fit!!). Out tonight, and despite it raining alll day here- I am still wearing my summer dress and sandals.

Sandals and cold toes here, very cold toes last night as some idiot decided it was hot at the event I was at, and opened the door.

Still in flip flops even though my expensive ones broke last week (Primark ones still going strong) and my feet are cold. I thought the weather was meant to be dire next week? I'm in Oxon.

I will wear whatever footwear suits the weather on the day in question, which roughly translates as sandals/flipflips most days from April til October, or even March to November! My feet get really hot at times, so I like to keep cool.

I've still got mine on. Probably until snow!

Fit flops or flip flops are bad for your feet? I live in my fit flops, could do with knowing whether the boots are worth the money?

I wore mine into work this morning - with tights on. Not a great look, but who cares?! I'm not giving in to winter completely just yet.
