Got home at 8ish - via pick-up and Waitrose, cooked dinner (quick and easy - only fresh pasta, salad already in a bowl and tomato sauce), v v stressed at work - put in 60+ hours last week, DH working in the kitchen and in the way, DH and DS have had a row about the merits of 20/20 cricket and commercialism in Rugby and it rolled on and on and on. Plus have ironed three shirts for DS, 2 for DH, 2 for dd and three tops for me. The house is a wreck and there are feathers all over the garden and I don't know where the bird is - please God it isn't in the house.

So, AIBU to be tired, fed up and downing my third glass of wine (big ones). Tomorrow's another day of grind.

Why are you doing their ironing? Stop. Stop now.

I stopped half an hour ago. I don't really mind doing their ironing; I'm just so tired and behind.

Yes but it's everything together that will make you tired. If you don't mind ironing, do that but give out the other jobs.

DS sounds old enough to make dinner. DH could have gotten food.

Don't be a martyr. In the morning, say to them all that you are flipping knackered and you need a hand with things. Divvy up the jobs.
