Just that really. I just have.

I felt I was getting dangerously close to outing myself. Haven't been talking about anything particularly juicy but if you know me you'll have figured out who I am in RL by my posts.

I like the anonymity.

YANBU - I NC all the time, most recently this week.

I sometimes worry that I'm a bit free and easy with info, so NC just to remain anonymous. I've recognised people on here simply from what they say about themselves - it's easily done.

No, YANBU.

I name change quite often, and never give out real details. I tweak the truth. My DC's age always differ by a few months, the sex of family members change, so say I have an issue with my Aunt, I say Uncle instead and so on in the hope that I don't get outed, as I have slipped up a few times to others about using MN and wouldn't put it past them to come on and try and find me.

I NC every time I start a new stage of life - it makes me feel like any baggage from previously has fallen away and I can start over (e.g. I recently changed form the name I used when I was recovering after an MC - am I now pregnant again and feel more hopeful, hence time for a change).

I always think the MNers who have their real life photos of themselves on their profiles are very brave.
