DS, 7 yo, has just grown out of night terrors, he used to run up and down the landing screaming like he was being murdered and just needed guiding back to bed, this happened infrequently.
DD, nearly 4, has started waking up crying. She cries, fusses and often plays for hours. She wakes about midnight for a while and then about 3am for an hr or so and is up around 7am always on the go til 7pm.
I'm knackered! I'm a single parent, I work and I haven't slept properly for a month or so now.
Someone pls help!

I feel for you with the night terrors. Lest week dd2 attempted to climb out of the (first floor) bedroom window. Terrors have wound down but sleep walking has begun!
There's no way you're getting enough sleep with your dds sleep pattern. Can't help you there, but hope you can get some more helpful answers on that one.

I had night terrors until I was 21yrs old!

Does your DD sleep in the day at all?

Flojo1979 · 09/09/2012 22:47

No she doesn't nap at all in the day, she's always on the go, I don't know where she gets her energy from. Tho often gets cranky if its been most of the night.
