Husband and his birthday present.

It is dh's birthday today.

I have long ago given up on surprises, as he has with me. When I have bought things I thought he would like, or god forbid " fun things", he either hasn't used them or taken them back.We went shopping on Thursday, he had a large budget but couldn't see anything he wanted. No problem he said, I'll get something next week before my golf trip.

So I did say, well you won't have anything to open on your birthday.

That's fine.

Cue this morning.
I gave him his card and some Green and Blacks chocolate. In flavours he likes.

Dcs had clubbed together and bought him a golf top he wanted.

But now, he is muttering " well, not much of a birthday is it, no presents."

To be fair, it is dd's 16th today, so she had a few gifts to open.

We are popping out for something to eat tonight, and it's our anniversary tomorrow.

But he does this every year. I feel like doing a dh Birthday Bingo card....
"not much of a birthday"
"I probably won't make 60"
" any chance of a bj tonight"

Could you whisk him upstairs and give him a surprise bj? Gift sorted & you probably won't hear 1 & 3 :)

Glad it's not just my DH who does the bj line!
