To share nail clippers with DH

In a conversation with PILs yesterday it came up that DH and I use the same nail clippers. PILs seemed to think this is revolting (despite them admitting to sharing towels and razors, which is a big no no in my book). Are we disgusting?

YANBU!! I can't believe they share towels and razors but draw the line at nail clippers!!
Maybe one of them has bad fungal nail infection. Only reason I can think of anyway.

I've never heard of a house with a pair of nail clippers for each person .

We have two pairs one for us and a smaller pair for DD . But tbh I would use anyone I know is cleans nail clippers it's not like a toothbrush !!

DH and i share toothbrushes which i think people consider far more disgusting. What's the problem with sharing towels? IMO once you share bodily fluids with someone for fun being so prudish about clippers and razors is a bit nonsensical.

YANBU, you share bodily fluids so a nail clippers isn't gonna turn any ones stomach.

That's weird, YANBU. We don't share them though, only because I don't like using clippers so I bite them use scissors instead.

Sharing a toothbrush is grim though!
