It's sunny here! Grin

chirpchirp · 30/08/2012 16:55

Not at all, ours has been on for an hour in the morning at evening for the last two days.

julieann42 · 30/08/2012 16:57

I'm trying to resist the urge to put mine on!

NameChangeGalore · 30/08/2012 16:58

I was going to put it on a few hours ago...it's bloody cold isn't it?

DoingTheBestICan · 30/08/2012 16:59

I refuse. If I get colder than this it will be socks and jumper.

NameChangeGalore · 30/08/2012 17:01

I had such a high gas bill last winter, I'm not letting anyone put the heating on until November.

OutragedAtThePriceOfFreddos · 30/08/2012 17:01

YANBU. We have had ours on a couple of times already.

KenLeeeeeee · 30/08/2012 17:02

I'm asking myself the same thing, brrrr!

Peggotty · 30/08/2012 17:03

It's sunny here but still bloody freeezing! I am trying to tough it out with a cardi on but my hands are cold and the dc keep coming in and out the front door bringing arctic blasts of cold with them!

TapirBackRider · 30/08/2012 17:48

I've seen the forecast for later - we're going to get a low of 5c! Heating is most definitely on. Sad

ChickensHaveNoEyebrows · 30/08/2012 17:49

Heating on, but set to 18C. It has just clicked on Shock August my big, hairy arse.

bobbledunk · 30/08/2012 17:54

I had mine on for a couple of hours the last few days, I like the house nice and warm, a comfortable home is not unreasonable no matter what month it is. When it's cold, it's cold.

picnicbasketcase · 30/08/2012 17:54

I'm wearing fluffy socks and a fleece. This is why I rarely post on S&B.

Mellower · 30/08/2012 17:54

Nope I have had mine of for 2 nights here. I try not to during the day, it is sunny outside but cold sunny!

procrastinor · 30/08/2012 18:05

God no. If it wasn't for the fact I can actually hear pound notes burning due to the aga I'd have mine on.

googleberry · 30/08/2012 18:38

Mine has been on I'm freezing!

Silverlace · 30/08/2012 18:44

Ours is a really complicated wood burner so doesn't go on until absolutely necessary, however, I am going to a holiday cottage at the weekend and can't wait to put the gas central heating on - bliss.!

Naoko · 30/08/2012 19:09

I'm freezing my arse off but I absolutely refuse to put it back on. It's only been off for about a month and I'm really enjoying not pouring all my money straight into the pay-as-you-go electricity meter :(

Meglet · 30/08/2012 19:10

yanbu. Mines been on a bit this week.

CleoSmackYa · 30/08/2012 19:12

YANBU. I've had to dig out my woollens.

TheOneWithTheHair · 30/08/2012 19:14

YABU It's August!!

It smells like autumn here and its really cold but there's no way it's going on.

bureni · 30/08/2012 19:18

Never turn mine of, its free in the summer months via thermal tubes which I use as a preheater for the rads in the winter months or just to heat water in the summer months.

PigletJohn · 30/08/2012 19:22

yes

put some more vests on

A bit of outdoor work wil toughen you up.
