I'm not keen on the Autumn Winter collection. Try notonthehightstreet.com, some very funky dresses on there for my 20mo DD.

Zara kids is good, also try ted baker kids stuff in Debenhams, we got a gorgeous dress for dd from there.

WillNeverGetALicence · 29/08/2012 09:32

Yeah mini Boden is a bit meh and very pricey.

Agree John Lewis.

Or try ebay. It's amazing how many nice children's outfits there are on it, some never worn and still with tags!

Some great bargains to be had!

AlfalfaMum · 29/08/2012 09:38

www.ilovegorgeous.co.uk/index.php/# do beautiful party clothes. Shocking prices, but check out the sale pages.

My dd is a baby so no help on where to buy 2yo party dresses, other than the suggestions already posted, I have seen some lovely ones in Joules in the past so may be worth taking a look at their website.

I normally love Boden but I agree that this year it's all a bit meh, my ds (8) doesn't want cute t-shrts with appliqué on the front any more he wants things that are a bit cooler (but still liked by mum!). The trousers are silly prices and are always the same - come on Boden get your act together.

dinkystinky · 29/08/2012 09:45

Ah, when you're bored of (mini) Boden, you must be bored of life...

not

Cant really help as have 2 sons but I do pick up pretty and unusual dresses for my niece from Boots mini-Mode range occasionally - seem to be well made and good prices

MonaLotte · 29/08/2012 09:53

porcamiseria · 29/08/2012 10:13

alfalfa

dont like the pouty glam little girl models on that site, YUK

OneTwoOrThree · 29/08/2012 10:14

Joules, although can often be Boden-esque

crazygracieuk · 29/08/2012 10:16

White Company if you have mini Boden money. I normally love Gap, but their stuff at the moment is hideous - leopardskin for heavens sake.

peggyblackett · 29/08/2012 11:42

Have a look at Bread and Jam. Not so much party dresses, but gorgeous all the same.

Bonsoir · 29/08/2012 11:43

What about the Jools Oliver range for Mothercare? I though there were some very sweet, wholesome pieces.

AlfalfaMum · 29/08/2012 12:02

Porcamiseria, I agree the styling is a bit odd, they don't very happy do they? Is it heroin-chic for kids Hmm

WelshMaenad · 29/08/2012 12:05

I have DD's dresses made.

www.dunknfluff.com even!

AlfalfaMum · 29/08/2012 12:06

Zukiecat, for a wedding I bought a little silk dress for dd2 in their sale, I think it was 60% off but still cost more than my own dress!
