surely it is bloody out of order to let your child build a sandcastle at the bottom of a bloody slide and then expect other children not to slide down it!?
Or is it just me?

Or should I have just gone down the slide myself and destroyed the offending sandcastle just out of principle? But no I just waited politely until they had gone..

The other little boy that was with them went down the slide and the one building the sandcastle started shouting and hitting him, but the mum told the other boy off for going down the slide! Good parenting...not!

My son would have stepped on it as he climbed up the slide.

My older daughter was playing on the other side of the play area, I was desperately trying to get her attention to get her to go down it and the other one is only a baby.

i would have let my dd go down it, sorry but its a stupid place to build a sandcastle!

If my child had built a sandcastle there and it had been destroyed, I would have gently laughed and told her to build it in a more sensible place. If she'd hit the other child, she would have been disciplined and made to apologise.

I worry about the future of some of these kids, getting away with hitting other children like that will not teach you good life skills.
