Should go to sleep instead of;

Pretending to want a feed and then just poking my boob and laughing,

Kneel on the bed squealing manically

Sprawl across me and thrust his bum in the air repeatedly

Shout at the pillow

Shout at my boob

Look proud of himself for farting

DD is currently going through a stage of random thoughts in the middle of the night (following dreams I assume). More! All gone! Daddy! I need some sleep.

cupcake78 · 28/08/2012 02:28

This has made dh and I laugh as we lie in our bed, neither of us can sleep due to mutual cold and flu. It's brought back some nice memories although it was very annoying at the time Grin

MrsTerryPratchett · 28/08/2012 02:34

On balance I'd rather have DD than the flu Grin

TheQueenOfDiamonds · 28/08/2012 02:36

Cupcake - it is funny sometimes lol, I keep having to turn away and laugh because if he sees me laughing it encourages him.

He's got my hair bobble now. Why does he not find ways to entertain himself like this in the daytime? I'd get a lot more done then!

My 7 week old DD is currently in full shout-at-boob mode as well, in between screaming due to wind. I am grateful that I went to bed for an hour early on since I had to get up again at 1130 to relieve a very frustrated DH. Your night time shenanigans sound more fun than mine!

TheQueenOfDiamonds · 28/08/2012 02:46

DS was terrible with wind when he was tiny.

He now thinks IABU because I won't hand over my blackberry.

Bossybritches22 · 28/08/2012 07:23

Oh bless them, I remember those frustrating but wonderful days!

Grin
RightBuggerforit · 28/08/2012 10:43

Yabu - those shennanigans are hilarious! If anything, he should wake up more, haha. How old is he?

discophile · 28/08/2012 10:44

Is this actually a stealth boast? He sounds totally delightful!!!

SlightlySuperiorPeasant · 28/08/2012 12:51

I was up at 5am this morning throwing imaginary spiders out of DS's bedroom window.

YANBU.

TheQueenOfDiamonds · 28/08/2012 16:10
