It sounds like you've done a lot today already, aren't you tired and ready for a nice sit down?

PureMorning · 23/08/2012 15:16

You need a hobbie.
knitting?
model trains?
découpage?
Puppetry?

PureMorning · 23/08/2012 15:16

hobby even

enteramusingnamehere · 23/08/2012 15:18

How on earth did you manage to get swimming and be back for lunch in 1 hour?? Wowsers...

Pandemoniaa · 23/08/2012 15:18

It sounds as if you've done enough for 2 days already! How about letting your 1 year old potter around the living room while you relax a bit? Put the TV on! Read a book. Whatever.

lilygoodtime · 23/08/2012 15:19

Sit and mn whilst lo potters about lounge. Interact when need be. You seem to have done a lot aready today!

griphook · 23/08/2012 15:21

It can be mind numbing some days. Watch something on the tv. You could watch junior bake off on I player.

ditavonteesed · 23/08/2012 15:23

I am also bored, I get bored when the kids potter, which is most of the time as they are 8 and 6 aand dont want to play pretend with silly mummy who constantly mithers them, think I need to get a life of my own ;)

Bellyjaby · 23/08/2012 15:24

My dd loves pottering around the living room, seeing what mess and trouble she can get herself in. She's been like this since 10 months. If she wants me she calls for me or brings me toys. I get shooed away otherwise lol. Maybe I'm lucky or lazy, or both. I don't think you're being unreasonable at all.

If you have hours to fill you could do worse than going online and looking on sumbleupon.com. It searches the internet for anything related to your interests (which you have to specify) and I love it!

chandellina · 24/08/2012 18:33

Do some exercise dvds, great for feeling smug sense of wellbeing.
