My child snores...

My dd has snored for as long as I can remember.. pretty much from birth. She is now 3 and I have never really thought anything of it but a few family members have mentioned it and after abit of googling it has come to my attention that it is something I should be worried about.. possibly a problem with addenoids or possibly even sleep aponea. Anyone got any info on.this matter? I'm going to take her the doctors tomorrow. Any advice appreciated. Thanks.

I had my adenoids removed at about 4 years old under general anaesthetic along with my tonsils and spent a few days in hospital, I used to snore a lot too but also got tonsillitis all the time - I assume the adenoid removal was due to snoring.

Me, my mother and my Nan have all had our tonsils removed and my Nan had her adenoids removed as a child. Does anyone know if its hereditory?

I'm sat listening to her sleep now and I'm worried sick.. iv never worried about it before, I just suppose because she's always snored I thought it was just normal for her. I feel awful
