to ask WTF is biting me?

I think something has bitten me. In the last 15 minutes 4 white itchy lumps have come up, 3 on my foot and one on my ankle.

Wtf are they? I can't see anything on me. My dogs don't have fleas AFAIK - mine definitely doesn't as I groom her myself, OH grooms his and hasn't mentioned anything, and it is the sort of thing hed tell me about because he wouldn't know what fleas look like so would be asking me what's crawling on the dog.

It did go swimming last night - he went through some bushes to get to a stream.

Argh. Ill be annoyed if its fleas. I've never had a dog with fleas, other than ones that have already had them upon arrival and we've been ready with a can of front line.

And why the fuck aren't they biting OH? That seems unfair tbh!

There is a spider in your bed Grin ,

I thought dog fleas did not bite humans?

Sounds like mozzies. And your oh is one of the lucky people who never gets bitten.

The cat fleas only bit me they seem to prefer us girls, perhaps it's the sweet smell and minimal bodyhair

Sounds like a mozzie. Bastards. They always go for my ankles - thin skin and you tend to stick them out from under the covers on hot nights like the one just gone.

Fleas bite in clusters - would probably be more than three. If it was a flea you will soon know unfortunately as they are itchier, long lasting and more painful than mosquito bites.

I'm the staple diet of biting insects :(

Sounds like a mozzie - they seem particularly evil this year in places - I had some on my leg/ankle the other week and they were agony and swelled up rather a lot - ice cubes seemed to help with the swelling and pain.

Sounds like mosquito bites. Nights are pretty grim Chez Icelolly when it's hot. We can't have any windows open unless we want to bitten to death.
