AIBU that I have been on Mumsnet so much and told my husband about the various threads, that he felt the need to text me and tell me he saw a young child being given lunch of chips and curry sauce with a fruit shoot to drink. Also aibu that I immediately thought of Mumsnet! Grin

Lifeissweet · 20/08/2012 13:03

Haha. Has he ever told you a story about some fecker parking in a P&T space too? If so, he needs a MN account.

Zippylovesgeorge · 20/08/2012 13:04

Just wanted to say I thought of Mumsnet last week when I feed my child a Greggs pastie for lunch AND a bottle of Fanta!!

BTW - he's 15!!

IamnotaStepfordHousewife · 20/08/2012 13:08

He has just text me so not you FalseStarted he has just got back and is likes the responses Grin, he said it involved, dad was at the counter, mum asking child and shouting responses to OH. Asking child, "Do you want chips? Do you want curry sauce?" To which child said yes and then Mum shouts, "Yes fucking curry sauce on it and a fruit shoot" Cue smirks from my OH Smile

Nope not lunch, he's just gone into the kitchen to make our lunch but yes Lifeissweet there are times I think he should be on Mumsnet but he would offend too many people. We are both opinionated but I tend to just hoik my judgey pants and keep quiet, whereas he would happily share his thoughts with anyone.

Get your fucking DH on ere, we need strong opinions.

TigerFeet · 20/08/2012 13:18

Chip shop curry sauce is just WRONG and GROSS and NASTY.

What that child should have had is gravy.

JoshLyman · 20/08/2012 13:19

Chip shops sell fruit shoots?

IamnotaStepfordHousewife · 20/08/2012 13:21

We are down south, there is not gravy on chips down South! Although when I went to Uni up North I did enjoy the gravy and chips after a night out.
Yummy!
Cheesy chips are not bad either .......

frustratedpants · 20/08/2012 13:24

IamnotaStepfordHousewife · 20/08/2012 13:25

CogitoErgoSometimes · 20/08/2012 14:48

Was it that luminous yellow/green curry sauce that only chip shops sell?

FutTheShuckUp · 20/08/2012 15:54

Lucky sod Envy

Glitterknickaz · 20/08/2012 15:55

sounds delish

picnicbasketcase · 20/08/2012 15:56

I see nowt wrong with that as a lunch as long as its not what he has every day, obviously, and there's no way or knowing.

IamnotaStepfordHousewife · 20/08/2012 15:57
