to ask your opinion on white jeans

I've just found out the party we're going to tonight is casual dress not smart. All my jeans except last years' white ones are pretty tatty. So what do you think, are white jeans okay or not?

Just wear white pants

I personally stay away from white as I attract dirt like nothing you have ever seen. However, they do look smart, and if you like them, wear them!

White jeans are lovely for a warm summer evening. A slightly more dressy top than you'd wear in the day time and you're sorted! Enjoy the party!

Thank you all. The only reason they are still presentable, monsterchild, is because I never wear them because they are so impractical!

I love my 3/4 white jeans. I did until I helped out at dhs restaurant before going into town. Was not a good idea. I have to come home and change.

Love White jeans, especially worn with mink (colour, not fur) or navy.. Can be chic if worn with the right accessories, etc. Can look try hard / liz hurleyesque if worn with high heels, however.

I live in my skinny whites with ash jalouse boots.

They're horrible.

I'm very envious of people that can wear white (any white - jeans, tops, linen trousers) I only have to have them on for 18 seconds and dirt will have miraculously appeared from nowhere (I wore a white top to work the other day. It rained. My recently coloured hair ran and I had a purple streak all the way down my back all day)

But yes, I think they can look very summery and chic if teamed with the right footwear - nothing too high or trashy, and an elegant floaty top.

Only to be worn if you are in a tampon advert!

White jeans are great I love mine never ever wear them in the vacinity of children though. I had a bloody a foot print on my arse when out in mine last week.

I like them, I have a 3/4 length pair and full length ones.

My DH likes my arse in them.

Skin tone pants not white.
