...to think this is not 24 hours?

I ordered something from Tesco Direct yesterday. It gave me the option of delivery to store for free, or home delivery for a fee. As I live close to the store and it was saying I could pick it up today after 4pm, I chose that. The home delivery dates were early next week. Today I got an automated call saying "we are sorry to inform you that your delivery has been delayed by 24 hours. Your order can now be collected on...Tuesday."

Wait, Tuesday? Even allowing for Sunday, that's not 24 hours after Saturday by any stretch of the imagination! It's not the end of the world but it's just a lie! Hmph.

He is my role model in many ways, including the number of chins Grin

Yes, even if I charitably include the weekend it's still not 24 hours! And as the original delivery date was a Saturday I assume they do actually deliver to stores at the weekend anyway. I mean, if it had said Tuesday to start with I wouldn't mind. I think I should write to my local paper and get a photo of myself looking sad with my email confirmation printout in my hand. That'll learn 'em.

I know bb! Laughed out loud at pints of cream! Potato grids? Large macs?
SO tempted to go to big/slim/weightloss area and post a new thread 'anyone trying the BB diet?'

Every Christmas when the Baileys flavoured cream comes into the shops, I ask DH how much he wants to bet me that I can drink a whole carton of it, but he always says it's not a dare if I actually really want to do it Sad

Did you see BB on Shooting Stars? Best one ever.

But everything has changed the Olympics means tesco is never shut, so 24 hours IMO still count at weekend lol

Yes the shooting stars was brilliant, especially when he falls off the chair and is going on about Simon cowell :)
