To hate my vacuum cleaner!!

It is a pointless waste of space, it has been slowly giving up and bemoaning its existence for the last few months. It barely sucks up anything, it doesn't even start up properly when I press the on switch and it has tuned my house into a dustugee paradise. I hate it, it stands in my hall mocking me with it's slogans promising cyclone bagless wizardry and empty promotions of its 1800 watts of power.

Honestly, I've seen more promise in an empty crisp packet than I have in that pathetic pustule on the devils scrap heap of evil of a vacuum!

Honestly I'd better off sucking the dust up through a straw!

I know you will say 'get a new one', unfortunately we are stuck with it due to financial constraints.

Have you ever changed/cleaned the internal filter?

Agree re cleaning filter. Mine was rubbish so got a new one, kept old one and cleaned filter. Now its like new!

I knew it would be a Dyson before I even got to the cyclone bagless bit. Our Dyson eventually blew up. We got a Henry. I like his cheery face but he can be unwieldy. Bet he never blows up though, indestructible is Henry. YANBU.

Worra I'm going to do that tomorrow morning. I've asked a friend if I can borrow hers for a day just to get on top of it all.

Hopefully once it gets replaced, I'll offer it up spares. That'll learn it!

Have you tried googling the problem you've got with that model? If you've had it someone else will be bound to have had the same.

Is it a Dyson? If so, for £70 they will come to your house and replace every single part that needs replacing, including body, bin, electrical lead, filters etc.
