My teenager went back today also...for whatever reason these particular six weeks have been the hardest of any previous school holidays!!

Enjoy your lunch.

MrsKeithRichards · 15/08/2012 09:25

It does seem to have flown in though in a blur of museum trips, skint knees and swimming in the sea! I shouldn't moan, he's been really good but now I can get back to swanning about with just a baby in tow!

Another week to go for us. Private school.

But the swimming pool is quiet :)

Calabria · 15/08/2012 16:13

Gah. That sounds like we have our own pool. We don't! Grin

Debeez · 15/08/2012 17:17

I have my flags ready. DS goes back tomorrow. A full day of housework uninterrupted! Imagine. Cleaning, tidying, a cup of tea in the quiet bliss of an empty home, bit of ironing.....

I'll miss him come Friday though.

Envy 3 weeks today.

Debeez · 15/08/2012 17:20

Wine for Sparkling

Sparklingbrook · 15/08/2012 17:30

Thanks Debeez, don't mind if I do. Grin

I've been through my fair share this holidays. Never had the full six weeks off before. I dare say the 7am start tomorrow will be a shocker though.

bentneckwine1 · 16/08/2012 08:39

Hope you are all up and on the go this morning! Yesterday DS was up by 6.30am and out the door before 8....bus not until twenty past!
Today was 6.50am and left home just in time for bus.

By tomorrow I might have to throw a cup of water of him!

Debeez · 16/08/2012 09:19

Just dropped DS off at his new school. They put out some lovely bunting Grin

vodkaanddietirnbru · 16/08/2012 09:25

managed to get my 2 to school on time (just!). Forgot about the queue of traffic that we have to sit in when trying to get out of our wee housing estate and round the roundabout. Nearly clipped the back end of another car in my haste as I only had 5 minutes left to get them to school. DS then ran off without a backward glance (into P2 today) but I got a kiss and cuddle from dd (P5 now!).
