To still call my

Son "baby" and "precious", he is now 2 and i keep getting reminded he is no longer my baby, he is now my toddler. And that makes me sad, very sad, his 2nd birthday when my mate messaged me saying happy birthday to little man. And welcome to the toddler years babe, i cried, i literally cried. Sad

I can still call him baby cant i? Pllleeeeassse

I still refer to mine as "my babies", even though they're nearly 6. I'll have to stop doing it at some point, but I'll probably wait until they start complaining about it and then just do it behind their backs! Grin

Two is a baby. Why are people in such a hurry to make babies and children grow up. Besides even if he was 40, he'd still be your baby

puddlejumper My mum doesnt anymore, i used to be little'un, my second pregnancy took my name pretty much as littley. Sad i mcc'ed

Ds is two and a half and I have told him the same thing my mum told me. You will always be my baby. And at 2 he is still a baby anyway.

I still call ds baby and he's 4 so I don't think yabu. I imagine he will always be my baby doesn't mean he can't grow and become more independent though.

My youngest is 9 and she will always be my baby though I think I shall have to less vocal about it as she grows up.

I'm in my 30s and my Dad still calls me "the babby" (he pronounces it like that too)

I've told my children that they will always be my babies! 2 is still a baby. Mine are 7+5 and still so so young!

My DD is 20 months and she regularly asks me if she's my baby. I always reply "Yes. You'll always be my baby. Even when you have babies of your own, you'll still be my baby"

And its the truth although, I'll also smile smugly when her kids have meltdowns over a 'wrong shape raisin'

I call DS (3.6) my baba but he usually shouts at me that he is a "BIG BOY NOT A BABY".

He will always be my baby. YADNBU.

My Dad calls me "his baby" and sometimes "the wee one". I'm 38 and tower over him - I'm 6ft tall.
