My period is late so would usually sugest taking a test but...
I have the implant
Have not had full sex in the near past
when I did have a fumble it was on the last day of my period

I usually bleed quite a lot but now just spotting, however my last periods have been increasingly late. I keep hearing things about cysts and stuff and starting to worry. AIBU or justified to worry?

I should add I have been having repeating pains in the area of my ovaries.

How long have you had the implant? im willing to bet that is the culprit. Are you having any spotting between your periods? FWIW i have a mirena coil and i dont bleed at all this is normal. Not sure for an implant, but it could be similar.

Hello, i don't know anything specificallly about cysts, someone should be along in a minute who is more useful!

But a PG test is only a couple of pounds, if you are late one from the poundshop should work fine, so why not do one just to put your mind at rest?

& so you can consider if there is anything else going on-

if they are getting increasingly late & pains it is something I would check with my gp if i got a negative HPT

I have had the implant two years but it has been a bit of a rough ride so maybe It is very hard to predict what will happen but this is never happened before

i had the implant, i hated it - to be honest, id have it removed and have a coil instead :)

I had the implant, i had no periods but it was the worst contraception i had as i never wanted sex whilst on it!!
It made me moody, gave me pregnancy symptoms, made my arm itch, i put on a stone, loss of libido and i have a scar from where it was taken out.
