I have a really juicy one from where my shoe rubbed my foot a few weeks ago. I can't resist it any longer even though I know it will bleed

i do , and dare i say it they taste ver nice ummmm

LauraSmurf · 13/08/2012 21:51

Scabs are good, not as good as squeezing spots though. (secret sporn addict!)

KellyElly · 13/08/2012 21:55

YA all BU for admitting it to anyone (even though I do all of the above except the eating - that's just nasty!) :)

Shutupanddrive · 13/08/2012 21:55

Is it wrong to let the dog lick the blood from my foot scab?

I love a bit of scab picking and eating. I know I'm gross but I just can't help myself.

EndoplasmicReticulum · 13/08/2012 22:48

I don't eat them (ewww) but I do pick. To the point of scarring myself. Can't help it. I also attempt to pick husband but he usually doesn't let me, I have to try and sneak up on him.

LastMangoInParis · 13/08/2012 22:54

YABU to start a thread with such an explicit and revolting title. Gross.

LastMangoInParis · 13/08/2012 22:55

Do you invent self-serving bullshit backstories to the scars, Endo?

VivaLeBeaver · 13/08/2012 22:56

I'm covered in mozzy bites at the minute and am squeezing, itching and picking away!

EndoplasmicReticulum · 13/08/2012 22:56

No. But I do have a big hole in the back of my calf at the moment where I've been picking at a mozzie bite.

pigletmania · 13/08/2012 23:04

oooooh endo, my type of person. I would love to pick the skin off dh feet but he will not let me. I sometimes do dds Blush. i would never eat anybody elses but my own though

Debeez · 13/08/2012 23:10

This was not the thread to read while eating cheesy poofs.

Love a good scab though. Can't beat cradle cap either.

NPPF · 13/08/2012 23:16

My cat had a big operation. As she was healing, I picked her scabs and she then ate them. Both happy!

CrispyCod · 13/08/2012 23:18

Grin@ NPPF. That's fecking gross!

EndoplasmicReticulum · 13/08/2012 23:26

I suppose eating them makes sense from a survival point of view, don't waste the protein! Still a bit gross though. I used to enjoy picking cradle cap while feeding babies.

pigletmania · 13/08/2012 23:43

ooih cradle cap, i got rid of ds by gently peelng it off, the only bit left is on his soft spot which i wll not touch. i did nto eat it though, dont worry Grin

NPPF · 14/08/2012 16:45

Crispycod I know Shock

pinkthechaffinch · 14/08/2012 16:59

I might have eaten a few of dds chicken pox scabs

She wad in the bath the other day and I discovered a rich seam of scurf between the folds of her ears , very satisfying to pick!

SavageGarden · 14/08/2012 17:14

I'm a terrible picker. It's the same as having an itch to me. I can't resist the urge to pick. Which has given me a couple of scars!

I do try to leave them alone but they drive me bonkers!

nightowlmostly · 14/08/2012 17:17

I'm terrible for picking at any scabs or spots, but it never even occurred to me to eat them! That makes me feel a bit sick, sorry!

SaggyOldClothCatPuss · 14/08/2012 17:40

Ill see your scab picking and raise you nose picking with booger eating thrown in!

TheOriginalNutcracker · 14/08/2012 17:47

I am a terrible scab picker (not eater though)

My arms are actually quite scared from where I have constantly picked the same scabs. I get ingrowing hairs on my arms sometimes and pick those which then scab and then i pick, scab, pick, scab.

Pinkforever · 14/08/2012 17:55

I love picking and squeezing! I had a very bad ear infection last year. Since then my ear has been constantly weepy. So every morning I have an earful of yellow scabs to pick throughout the dayGrin Probably going to end up deaf tho.....

I also have a very bad scar on my leg where I have constantly scratched at one of mt varicose veins.

I adore picking skin on peoples feet, squeezing dhs spots and cradle cap

BatCave · 14/08/2012 18:14

Ahem

Pinkforever be very careful with the varicose vein on your leg, causing a wound on your leg could lead to an ulcer and if you've got vv's you're at higher risk.

I love picking and squeezing though, I'm definitely in the right job Grin

NPPF · 14/08/2012 19:51

pinkforever I think I know the type of ear infection you mean. It sounds like it is still infected. Have you tried a prescription spray called otomize?
