YANBuU DH says she looks like James Corden!

JustFabulous · 12/08/2012 18:20

Yes, and rude.

I am sure how she has her hair has no bearing on your life at all.

ninah · 12/08/2012 18:22

astonishingly, it's not about her hair

Gigondas · 12/08/2012 18:23

Yabu - she is great

mumsknots · 12/08/2012 18:24

Nah, she's great just as she is.

Better than Gabby with her low-cut blouse.

PiousPrat · 12/08/2012 18:24

No no, perfectly reasonable.

Just because she has excelled at presenting the Olympics, has been warm and engaging with all the guests rather than relying on stilted, stereotypical 'banter', has researched all the (often a bit obscure and unknown 3.5 years at a time) sports she is covering and slips in interesting facts and tidbits, that is no excuse for not putting on a full face of slap, hoiking the level of her top down a bit and having 'on trend' hair.

Clearly she is letting the sisterhood down and should be ashamed Hmm

ChickensArentEligableForGold · 12/08/2012 18:25

YABU to think she should care about her hair style. I have to be forced in to a hairdressers on pain of death.

jollyrancher · 12/08/2012 18:25

Its her style, innit. Sort of jolly hockeysticks country woman.

SoleSource · 12/08/2012 18:25

I need my hsir sorted and the thought about Claire crossed my mind.

ninah · 12/08/2012 18:27

stargirl1701 · 12/08/2012 18:27

Well said PiousPrat.

YABU. Who cares about crap like haircuts?!

Birdsgottafly · 12/08/2012 18:29

She rides, so i would imagine if her hair doesn't interfer with weaning a riding helmet, then she is happy.

She is also out in all weathers.

ameliameerkat · 12/08/2012 18:31

I'm with PiousPrat on this one.

ilovesooty · 12/08/2012 18:31

No one seems to dissect male presenters' appearance in this way...

PrideOfChanur · 12/08/2012 18:32

YABU - she is a great presenter - as long as she likes her hair who cares?

LyingWitchInTheWardrobe2726 · 12/08/2012 18:34

I see her quite often on Chiswick High Road... I think she lives nearby.

SoleSource · 12/08/2012 18:34

well I know now that is the style I shall ask for timorrow.

sugarice · 12/08/2012 18:35

I would love her if she were bald or had mad pink ringlets Grin.

ninah · 12/08/2012 18:36

her style goes way beyond hair - if only it were that simple

TunaPastaBake · 12/08/2012 18:36

YABU - she is great as she is !

TunaPastaBake · 12/08/2012 18:38

OP aka Fashion Guru - any suggestions on her 'new' hairstyle anyway ?

QuickLookUsainBolt · 12/08/2012 18:39

Please do not be disrespectful towards Dame Claire Balding.

It isn't nice or necessary.

PiousPrat · 12/08/2012 18:44

Do you know what? After watching the Olympic coverage, Clare Balding is now totally on my fantasy dinner party guest list. I wasn't really that aware of her before because nothing but sodding football gets airtime in my house I don't watch much sport coverage but I have found myself actively seeking out the bits she has been presenting. If I flick over and it is someone else, I tune out and just glance up for the clips of the action but if it is Clare, I actually listen, take it in and am interested.

When she comes to my dinner party, I will be sure to ask who does her hair Grin
