I'm a freindly sort, cheery wave, good morning ect etc, and one thing I do like to do is have a jovial glance at friends' houses when the sun drive past, little bit of bonding iyswim?

Weelllllll, this mowning I was sitting in my car on my drive waiting to pull off into traffic, when 2 friends drove by. Did they glance in my house's direction? Did they feck. Angry

I feel snubbed. It's quite hurtful.

Sad

I keep my eyes on the road when I am driving. I am very, very nosy but I don't look at friends houses when I am driving, although I would if I was a passenger. Then I would enter the colour of their net curtains on a tooth colour chart from the dentists.

ChocolateHips · 11/08/2012 12:46

You're joking right?

gordyslovesheep · 11/08/2012 12:47

HecateHarshPants · 11/08/2012 12:47

TheEnthusiasticTroll · 11/08/2012 12:49

YABU to feel hurt and sunubbed yes.

however i do what you say you do and most people i know do the same too, but surely not every single time. maybe they where chatting or keeping an eye on the road.

are you really feeling snubbed and hurt by the fact they where together and you where not with them or invited to join what ever they where together doing?

UmaGourd · 11/08/2012 12:52

Oh, I hadn't thought of that.

Thanks, EnthusiTroll.

well if that is the reason, what you need to do is rationalise it and not feel jelouse by them doing things with out. It would be incredibly difficult for us all to include everyone of our friends with everything we do, it just would not be managable. Im sure you do things with friends and dont include other friends, you are not excluding those friends are you? I would say that is the same here.

I used to get quite jelouse of my dsis and my dsis-in-laws activities. Now I just dont bother, soemtimes you just need to accept the friendships people have with other people and not let them bother you other wise feelings of jelousy will affect those friendships you have.

HecateHarshPants · 11/08/2012 13:01

Blush oh god, I am SO sorry, you were serious.

I thought you were playing.

savoycabbage · 11/08/2012 13:04

Me too. Also sorry. Blush

PicklesThePottyMouthedParrot · 11/08/2012 13:06

Uma I don't look at my friends houses but i loves them all the same.

NameChangeGalore · 11/08/2012 13:06

The arseholes. I'd go and beat the shit out of them, and remind them of where their loyalties should lie. Can't believe how restrained you are.

UmaGourd · 11/08/2012 13:08

But I'm not sure that they were going out together. Confused

But you put it in my head.

They don't really know each other proper - only from begiiners tai kwon feng shui.

But their cars wree going in the same direction, now I contemplate and cogitate it.

TheEnthusiasticTroll · 11/08/2012 13:13

Oh no sorry I have made it even worse for you Sad

i thought they where together, im sure they wherent going out together. I think you may be seriously over thinking this, no help from though Blush.

Uma I do think if you are genuinly feeling hurt and snubbed by this, that is not a rational thought proccess and you should maybe try to think about and address why, are you feeling depressed lately or needier than usual?

SayCoolNowSayWhip · 11/08/2012 13:20

Um, I think Hecate and Savoy were on the right track here.....

Tai Kwon Feng shui??!! Seriously????! (And yes, all those punctuation marks ARE required!)

JumpingThroughHoops · 11/08/2012 13:21

And just in case that this is serious after all..... O grow up

SayCoolNowSayWhip · 11/08/2012 13:30

More Disturbia

lemmein · 11/08/2012 13:34

I thought the op was funny Grin mainly cos i glance at my friends houses when i drive by - not sure they do the same, must ask!

NameChangeGalore · 11/08/2012 13:38

I don't glance in friend's houses as I drive by, because that's a bit weird and creepy. I do like looking into people's houses during Christmas though, to see how they've decorated their christmas tree. Grin. I suppose I'm weird and creepy during christmas only.

OddBoots · 11/08/2012 13:48

Was one of them Sharon?

PicklesThePottyMouthedParrot · 11/08/2012 13:50

Like a grinch or summat? Your allowed to be creepy and weird at Christmas. Your allowed to sit on old men knees and attack
People for kisses with foliage. It's all a bit weird when you think if it.

TheEnthusiasticTroll · 11/08/2012 13:56

who is sharon? Am i imagining this or i have seen a reference to sharon on another thread? and didnt know the relevence then either Confused.
