Moot point really.

Supposed to be heading down south to Cornwall tonight, but weather forecast is awful and don't fancy wet camping with 3 children :(

Oh well, there goes my holiday for this year

Well the van is packed, we're going anyway.

Can you all keep your fingers tossed for sunshine in the south west and if it rains, any southerly MNers spotting a bedraggled damp family in an off White VW T25, give us a wave and a toot - that'll be family Babylon on their holibobs!!! Grin

We've had blazing sun, blue skies and high temperatures for the last few days in Sussex. Before that there were heavy showers but a lot of dry in between.
Good luck, if it's warm, the rain needn't stop you doing a lot of things.

Never ever holiday in Britain.

Save up and holiday every other year somewhere warm.

Or do as a DF did and book less than a week ahead for the only place in the entire country that was dry.

We were all pig sick when we saw the photos.

She had hit the Web in much the same way as people try for Olympic tickets the second the weather forecast came out.

We holidayed in Cornwall two weeks ago. The weather forecast predicted rain every day we were there, but we found it was localised showers and we fig d if very easy to dodge them. It was pouring down when we arrived at the resort but, within an hour or so, it cleared up and was lovely for the rest of the day. We had two fabulous days on the beach ( could have had more but decided to do other things). Relax, it won't be as bad as you think; if it's raining where you are then chances are it won't be if you drive twenty miles or so south. Have a great holiday.
