beard fight

DH has a 'beard' and moustache, 11 week old hates it. She visibly winches when he kisses her, and sometimes it makes her cry. He has 5 days off work soon. I've asked him to shave to see if she prefers him kissing her without the scratchy hairs on her skin. He's refused, saying that it's part of him. I think that he should shave it as it will grow back. Am I being unreasonable? He's said that he just won't kiss her. I think he's being a twat.

the baby will get used to it.

I don't even know where to begin. Just leave him be.

FunnysInLaJardin · 10/08/2012 22:54

beards are weird. YANBU

Blimey get over it...your baby knows him no other way Grin

Perhaps she winces for some other reason?

Either way I'm sure she'll survive a bearded dad.

WorraLiberty · 10/08/2012 22:54

And for the record, I absolutely hate beards and moustaches.

DH has always gone out of his way to prickle the DDs with a whiskered kiss, although a little older than 11 weeks, they love it Grin

I'm not into weirdy beardys, but it's great because he looks 10 years younger every time he has a shave Grin
