... Should keep their bloody germs to themselves??!!

Took them to the doctors this morning with a rash that turns out is excema and whilst checking over one of them the nurse said that she thinks he has a virus. Now I think I've caught it! I'm burning up but feel cold and shivery and have a headache and sore throat :( Worst thing is, all I have in the flat is Calpol and really don't need to be ill when I have 9 month old twins to look after!

So AIBU, or should they learn that some things are not for sharing?

Oh poor poor you - what about a massive cuppa instead. It's hot, you might just be overheated and be fine tomorrow, with any luck.

Feel better soon!

YAnbu, they should know that at their age.

You'll be saying the opposite when they are older and you want them to share toys though.

Have an early night and its bloody awful.

I don't know specifically how these things work, but if she did have a virus could it have taken hold so quickly for you to feel so crap tonight after only seeing her this morning?

If it takes a while for viruses to incubate, could you have got it somewhere else?

Bit weird of her to tell you though, it's not something you'd shout about if you thought you were spreading it around to patients.

YANBU.

And sorry to put a downer on things, but my twins didn't stop getting all manner of viruses until about age 2ish. Then it was chicken pox then mumps in two week stints.

Of course, they never suffered with any illness, were just a bit under the weather - me, however, I suffered a lot!

Agent, it's my baby that has a virus, not the nurse Wink he's been off-colour for a couple of days but they've just started nursery so are picking up everything going - I'd just rather they didn't share it with me and my shit immune system Sad

And now I can't sleep which of course is going to make me feel soooo much better Wink
