You just sign up don't you? It's one of those things where you sign up, then the first month or however long is free and if you don't want to start paying you have to go and cancel. I have no idea how easy it is to actually do the cancelling though, since they have the direct debit instruction/card details all set up at that point...

I had one once, I just clicked the link on the Amazon website that said 'click here for a free trial' and that was it. It was easy to cancel.

NarkedRaspberry · 08/08/2012 15:19

I tried it once as I needed a specific toy for a birthday. They managed to lose the toy when transferring it between warehouses on route. It never arrived. I ranted complained. I was given two more weeks on my free trial Hmm. DH tried it last week for a phone accessory he wanted ASAP. It arrived 2 days later.

two2blackcats · 08/08/2012 15:25

Mrsjay · 08/08/2012 15:27

Amazon Prime is excellent except when they use Royal Mail to deliver the item. Very rarely arrives when it should. I've been a member for about 2 years now

catgirl2012 · 08/08/2012 15:33

I love Amazon prime £50 well spent IMO

VolAuVent · 08/08/2012 16:43

YABU. I can't see why a free trial would be needed TBH. There's no need to test what it's like to have your Amazon Prime items delivered for free, as it's obvious how it works.

tinkcantwaittomove · 10/08/2012 13:38

used and cancelled

I've used it for about 4 years and love it. I use Amazon all the time and family use my account for stuff so get prime delivery too.

vjg13 · 10/08/2012 13:48

I had the free trial and loved it. Cancelled it straight away so I didn't forget.

FelicitywasSarca · 10/08/2012 13:50

My DH is on about his third 'free trial' as long as you cancel there doesn't seem to be a limit to how many free trials you can have. Grin

MonkeyRisotto · 10/08/2012 16:17

I've had 3 free trials too, keeps offering me it, but sometimes it says would you like to trial it and when you say yes, it says you can't as you've had a free trial before.
