To think that dh spends too long on the throne

Its trivial but drives me mad every time he goes for a poo hes in the bog for about 30 minutes. He takes reading material or iPhone in with him and enjoys sitting in his own stink. He goes 3 times a day which makes an hour and a half daily. Drives me MENTAL. Disclaimer I may have quite bad Pmt at the moment but AIBU to want to leave the bastard?

Ban the on loo entertainment and see how long it takes him then?

Normal. It's also probably quiet time. Three times a day is normal for lots of people. Five or more needs a chat with the GP.

My dh is the same. It's his me time. Drives me nuts too.

I go a few times a day and I don't rush (IBS). Although AFAIK if it's really smelly then it's a bad sign. Mine is mainly due to being a neurotic stress-head which sends my bowels into overdrive.

Drives me mad too, especially when we're just about to go out the door. DD will have her coat on and everything and he'll say 'Just nipping to the loo' and I know I may as well go find something else to do. Particularly annoying when it makes us an hour or so late for things!!!!

It can take some people a lot longer that that...

im with euphemia. my dh also says 'nipping to the loo' and spends 30 mins with newspaper etc but it takes me 3 mins max. When i ask he says thats how long it takes but surely thats ridiculous to poo out that much??? Am i the only one that goes when i feel the urge and not at a certain time of day? he seems to think i am...

It's weird isn't it, my BF spends ages on the bog whereas I take a couple of minutes. I just can't figure out why it takes him so long and why he doesn't wait until he needs to go. It's a complete mystery to me and it does get irritating having to wait for him at times.

oh i laugh. i say to my dh that i go when mine is in the 'departure lounge' whereas he sits and waits for his to check in......not to mention the AMOUNT of loo roll used AND a mid poo flush. who has time for these luxurious poofests ?

Fuck no. Do you have DC? so long as you get to fuck off for 30 mins 3 times a day i guess that's ok. And you don't have to smell shite in your downtime.
