To ask for some positive thoughts

Hi everyone, I have my driving test today and am getting a little scared! Haven't told anyone except my best friend that it's today so would appreciate some positive thoughts sent my way and a reassurance that I am NOT too old to learn new things and I CAN do this!

How old are you if you don't mind my asking? My Mum didn't learnt to drive until her late 30s and she passed first time! Sending oodles of positivity your way.

I'm 36, it's at 2pm so getting closer! Really want to be independent and not have to rely on friends, trains etc, but just can't envisage actually passing :(

Lots of good luck vibes. My friend just passed 2 weeks ago at 34 an is loving driving. She imagined that she had passed and put post it notes round her house saying "well done for passing" before the test! Xx

Awww - chin up OP. I didn't learn until I was 40 and it took me 3 goes to pass. Just tell yourself you'll keep going back till they get bored of you! And DO keep trying because you WILL pass.

I passed on my fourth test (4th instructor) and by then had switched to an auto! You will get there chin up

Oh yes - Automatic all the way. I couldn't cope with all those gears and thinking about changing them and why and clutches and shitting well stalling - sod that! Go Auto!

just booked another already...I will get there!
