Hello all,

I am awaiting a courier collection on behalf of a well known catalogue company. I have had 3 seperate days where I have waited in and had no collection. AIBU to refuse to wait in for another full day? Thanks in advance.

Of course YANBU. I had this with Amazon although only once, courier didn't show, I phoned Amazon and said I'd return by Royal Mail as I didn't have the time to wait in another day, and they could refund me the postage. They readily agreed. Try that, maybe?

That would be Yodel then ? I refuse to have anything to do with them.

I sent a heavy Amazon parcel back via Royal Mail, and they refunded the postage.
Just let them know first.

If it's a well-known one beginning with V, I had a similar experience - although the courier did appear, but managed to get up the drive, and post a card through the door (with an incomprehensible mobile number to call) despite 4 adults and a jumpy dog all being in the house and listening out for him (I was 5 steps away from the door in the next room) - NINJA SKILLZ I tell you.

In the end I just emailed them to say I'd take it to the postoffice instead.

You are and you're not...

I mean, I get a bit excited when I know something is arriving, especially from overseas. So I stay in on the days I think it will be here.

But it does get frustrating when the clock ticks round to 3pm and I know that it will be another day of waiting eagerly

Can't they collect it from a shed or something. I usually leave it outside in the shed and put this on the instructions. I use next quite a lot and never have any probs with this.
