He said to me today that he was disappointed that "Wenlock" and "Mandeville" (hope thats right ) were not in the opening ceremony.

I'm thinking he has a point, they've been selling these things all over the place for a couple of years now, you think they could have been included somehow.

That's a really good point mrs. Get one from the bargain bucket in 2 weeks.

And as it's the official Olympic song then I think it should have been played at the opening ceremony regardless of whether "people" like them or not?

They're just weird, what are those things meant to be? There's statues of them all over London and they just look tacky and shit.

My 4 year old didn't see the ceremony, but he would definitely agree!

My dd said the same. Especially since her school went to watch the torch pass and they were present then.

They were running round the Olympic Park today.

My DCs love Wenlock and Mandeville. DS was more excited about seeing a big Wenlock when the torch went by, than the torch itself.
