I know this isn't the best place for cancer questions but I'm curious and worried.

My mum had radiotherapy for breast cancer after removal of the lump. This finished a few months ago. Next week she has an appointment at the hospital but doesn't know what they'll be doing. Will they give her a mammogram? Or is the appointment just to chat with her and see how she's feeling etc?

I'm worried they won't give her any scans. I selfishly want to be reassured that it's all gone. But I don't know what to expect. She doesn't either.

Thanks

I think if I remember rightly when it happened with my Mum she had a mammogram and then she came back a week later to be given results but that was going back at least 12 years ago so I don't know if they do the same now.

I don't know either but could you go along too then you'd be able to ask them.

Hope it's all ok.

I'm not in the same country as her so no :(. I'll be seeing her soon though. I really hope they give her a mammogram just so we know for sure the treatment worked. Thanks for replies
