In expecting news on the news channel

I turn on BBC news 24 to watch the news and instead have wall to wall coverage of all things Olympic...the torch, the football etc......not everyone wants to hear about the Olympics!

the olymics is news and of course it is history in the making

But it is still news, rather topical news for the next month I would say.

Just watch the 6 o'clock/10 c'clock news instead on normal BBC - it'll give you all the news for today and just highlights from the Olympics.

it is news. Beats the usual doom and gloom about the rain/economy/latest genocide.

Would you like some? Story making the headlines about a mass murder and drowning of a boy in boiling water in South Africa, with a bit of rape and shooting thrown in..

But some people do want to hear about the Olympics and it's only a couple of weeks out of 52 others of wall to wall repeated so called news! Tune into Al Jazeera - I'm sure they're not running Olympic news!

Dave Cameron was on there wearing a zuit, I was disappointed. He should be wearing shorts throughout the Olympics. Pwoar.
