looking for MSVELVET, trying to send her something, can anyone PM her surname to me

Hi, I have some stuff to send msvelvet, after her post the other week. I have her first name and DD's, plus address, from PM'ing her, but need her surname.

Am trying to book a courier online (seems cheaper than PO, and less hassle), not sure if it will accept a first name only??? Does anyone know??

If anybody knows her surname, coud you PM it to me asap???
Thanks very much.

I'm confused, surely you only need the address to send something by post?

And if you do need a name, make one up? Ms. Vel Vet.

Hmm

Why not just send it to 'first name' + 'Mumsnet'. I doubt if anyone has her surname and, if they did, they wouldn't give it to you. Why don't you PM her again?

cubbie · 26/07/2012 13:08

Thanks I wasn't sure! I will try just her first name.

My God I wouldn't PM anyone information like that

As has been suggested, just make on up or put 'Mumsnet'.

Hi I did PM her a while ago, just not replied yet. Thats a good idea re the name, thanks.

(I thought it would be ok if someone just PM'd her surname, maybe I am naive)

am going back to the courier site, hopefully just first name and made up name will do
(just thought in case it was a flat, which I think it is, the courier would be looking for a surname, and might not deliver to an address without a surname, and thought that if I put something like Smith, it wouldn't be delivered at all as that name wouldn't match?

On second thoughts, I will wait for her to PM me back.

reason I asked is cos I knew a few of you were sending her clothes for her DD.

Very nice of you though.

Hope it gets to her :)
