DS has been a nightmare somewhat challenging today. Culminated in him slamming doors and telling me he hates me til I die. AIBU to have showered him, fed him and put him to bed all by half six?

YANBU.

You have made sure he is clean and fed and now you are trying to show him actions have consequences. Good parenting all round.

I don't think so. If he sleeps and when calmed down that's the best time to ask him what he REALLY was upset about. And then give him a cuddle bless him.

I was just thinking yesterday how amazing it was that we had got to week four of the school holidays without a melt down hey ho early bed for me too I think.
