cant be arsed to mow the lawn

Caution! Very trivial thread lol!!

So mowing the lawn has always been DHs job, since I claim there are far too many big spids in the garage for my liking. Following the weeks of rain and us on holiday the grass is now resembling a jungle and DH has been poorly so looks like its up to me.

AIBU that its just too bloomin hot to do it and play waterplay with the DSs instead! And for you lovely MNetters to think of a good excuse to give the DH lol!!

Because .... its too wet after a water fight and might rust the mower blades?

Because ... you might get sunstroke?

If you cut the grass and then play with water the whole place will look like a mudbath in no time, it will "ruin" the lawn especially with this scorching sunshine. Promise to do it on the weekend and hope it rains though actually it's quite a nice theraputic job making the lawn all stripy.

I cannot be bothered to mow mine either. I think Saturday is going to be a breezy dat. Might do it then.
