If you are travelling abroad with your toddler please please be warned. If you book an Alitalia flight with an AirOne code share they will charge you 35 euros each way to transport your pushchair if your child is over the age of 2. At 2 my sun still uses his pushchair! This will add 70 euros to your round trip. I have just spoken to their customer services department on my return and apparently it is there in a link to a link to a link on the booking page, but interesting it is not mentioned in the baggage details of Alitalia alongside their AirOne baggage amendments. Ultimately it is their loss, as for the price of 35 euros they have lost a once loyal customer. Other parents be warned, just because Alitalia are a big name they are no less devious that other airlines which I won't get started on here.
