In thinking men only parking bays are not on

Town in Germany has bays that are for men as they are more difficult to get into and the women can park in the easier bays!

It's the men in my family that pass me the keys to get the car into the tight spots

However ironically, I bet it means that both men and women park better as a result simply to prove a point...

I would do it as an experiment.

Bays for men, women, parent and child, disabled, larger cars and vans and then film the results over the course of a year.

Just to see what would happen compared to a normal carpark. How many bumps and scrapes, arguments, etc.

I bet bad male and female drivers will park in those bays, because they're too ashamed/arrogant to admit they will have problems. Then they'll scrape all over the place. You know how some people refuse to admit they're not the Best Driver Ever(tm).

Fair enough indicating "easy" and "difficult" parking spots, then you can decide based on your competence (and the size of your car).

Our local supermarket have extra wide spots for the "my car's too big" brigade.

I freely admit I'm a crap parker. I don't think that's because I'm a woman though, I'm just not good at parking. I also have children who recklessly fling open the back doors of the car, so tight spots are not advisable.

I'm a much better at parking than DH!!

Yes I do think it's a publicity stunt, there are good drivers and those who are not so good, gender is not the issue
