yanbu, sleep is important. 1 perk of DH working nights it that i get a big king size bed all to myself :) i wish we had a spare room.

EnglishGirlApproximately · 20/07/2012 00:06

Yanbu. We spend about 4 nights apart every week as we sleep terribly in the same room. We get on much better day to day if we get some sleep.

Whatever works for your relationship.

Tho' I warn you that if you aren't in agreement, you may find your DP feels marginalised. That won't bode well for your relationship ongoing, especially when the baby arrives.

just keep up with the love, cuddles and communication

northcountrygirl · 20/07/2012 00:11

It's up to you of course but I left my first husband due to complete lack of intimacy. He started with the sleeping separately. Not saying that you're necessarily like him but if you're gonna start sleeping separately you really need to make sure that when you're awake you still "connect".

Alternatively, maybe your husband isn't like me...

McHappyPants2012 · 20/07/2012 00:17

there is always sneaking into his room for some intimacy.

DP and I sleep in different rooms - much better. We have sex in the afternoons instead, ( when we both have free time).
