... Well, I should have POAS... BFP this morning...

Still in shock but thrilled.

And panicking cos in the end I was very, very naughty on Friday and had two glasses of vino, not the one...

I'm not bad mother of the year material yet, am I...? Confused

Oh I read your other thread but didn't post.

Congratulations! Grin

Do not spend a second worrying about the two glasses, pointless.

My cousin found she was three months pregnant on return from a very drunken skiing holiday, all was well.

Thanks Gobblers - reassuring to hear about your cousin!!! (and that'll teach me for being such an old soak)

Oh congratulations, what lovely news! :o

Don't worry about the wine, it won't affect the baby.

confusedgypsychick · 17/07/2012 10:22

I drank a bottle of champagne to myself the night before I got a BFP with DS. He's perfectly ok!

RobinSparkles · 17/07/2012 10:23

My friend's sister didn't find out that she was pregnant until she was about 5 months gone. She'd been carrying on as normal, going out drinking etc and he's a healthy 2 year old.

emeraldgirl1 · 17/07/2012 10:23

confusedgypsy v glad to hear it!!
It's my first so obviously I want to do everything 'right' but hang onto my (limited) sanity in the meantime.

Poor DH is going to need a large drink himself tonight. He's thrilled but in complete shock - I mean, it's not as if we haven't been trying!!!!

My pfb was conceived on Burns Night, with no ill effects. Stop worrying! Congratulations, enjoy your pregnancy.

CadleCrap · 17/07/2012 10:25

Don't worry about guidelines saying ZERO alcohol when TTC. A lot of us got up duffed BECAUSE of alcohol Wink

Congratulations.

emeraldgirl1 · 17/07/2012 10:26

Thanks you mayaswell... feeling very strange this morning, want to tell everyone including the man who's just brought me my (single shot!!) coffee, but obviously am not. Hurrah for MN, where you can reveal all...

CadleCrap oh, so many good things in life happen because of alcohol... :)

Congratulations!
Don't beat yourself up over it. You didn't know you were pregnant at the time you drank.
I found out 6 days after a very good New Years eve party (with pleanty of Wine Blush ) that I was about 7 weeks pregnant. DD is now nearly 6, and doing very well at school (above average according to her school report Grin PMM there!).
I just avoided alcohol after I knew I was pregnant.
Good Luck x

Thanks Johnnydeppsnewmrs

I love these stories, they give me hope that we can't do THAT much damage to children no matter how hard we try!!!
