liz jones is at it again... talking utter drivel about what SHE thinks mums should do with their life

aibu to think this silly woman should shut the hell up on the subject of motherhood as she clearly hasn't got a clue what she is talking about?! some women choose to stay at home, some women choose to work, some women have to work, some women have to stay at home. we mums all have to work through our choices, decisions on what we need to/have to do and don't need Liz's worthless opinion on the subject do we?! She talks like she knows what she is on about when she has no idea and is clearly obsessed with the subject of being a mum and what is best even though she has no kids and no idea about kids

shut up woman!

rant over!

Yeah, fuck you liz jones, and your wanky newspaper!

Sparklingbrook · 15/07/2012 17:38

I'll second that 50. I think I saw an article by the Brick woman too today, but haven't read it yet.

I still want Liz Jones, Katie Hopkins and the Brick to charter a boat and sail off into the sunset never to be seen again. Angry

picnicbasketcase · 15/07/2012 17:39

Stupid woman. We need to stop giving her the oxygen of publicity and maybe she'll shut up and go away.

Reading the Daily mail
YABU

catgirl1976 · 15/07/2012 18:48

I read that and thought she sounded a bit saner than usual. Whivh isnt saying much to be fair

LucieMay · 15/07/2012 18:52

The problem is that her and other moronic contributors like Samantha brick generate so many hits to the site with their ridiculous views. I hate the daily mail but always read their drivel when linked to it. I can't help it.

Pixel · 15/07/2012 19:21

I too thought she sounded more sensible than usual, after all it is true that housework etc takes up a lot of time and being a mum isn't all finger painting and trips to museums. Then she had to ruin it with The stay-at-home mum encourages extreme myopia, too: the child soon learns the female adult has no idea of Hillary Clinton?s job title. FGS, just because I'm at home (as a carer) doesn't mean I'm brain-dead and incapable of reading a newspaper Angry. Also I hated having a mum who had never written a cheque, or used cash-back, who on Earth would that apply to nowadays? Certainly not me, I do all the bill-paying as dh is rubbish at it, he's the one who hasn't written a cheque in years!

squeakytoy · 15/07/2012 19:26

I think she makes some very valid points actually.

catgirl1976 · 15/07/2012 19:27

I have to say I didn't finish it..........sounds like she got less and less sane as she varried on pixel
