would I be ok to take a 8 year old and 5 year old?

Would they have much interest in it? I thought it was a documentary type thing?

methsdrinker · 15/07/2012 11:24

Its Katy Perry oooooooh how they love her and her happy songs.
I just want to know if i can fall asleep in peace without the worry of anything unsuitable popping up

It's a documentary. I haven't seen it but I'm dying to Grin I think she's pretty family friendly.

methsdrinker · 15/07/2012 11:29

They would sit through a documentary, they a glued to horrible histories so same thing I suppose?

Ohhhhhh as a indie chick thats a good and a not so good answer,
Of all things I have sacrificed as a mother the last vestigages of coolness are going to be lost to KP.......
I actually secretly like some of her tunes.

Im so glad i spotted this thread as my dd (8) loves katy perry & saw a poster for the film & was unsure about it. Think by the comments it would b fine to take my dd. Thanks

FlouncyMcFlouncer · 15/07/2012 12:18

I've seen it, really enjoyed it and yes, it would be fine for those ages.

BagofHolly · 15/07/2012 12:33

Wasn't it edited to show RB as a knob? Its hardly going to show him as fabulous when they broke up during/after filming, under circumstances rumoured to be ALL her fault.

BagofHolly · 15/07/2012 12:33

RB is god, obv. Grin

methsdrinker · 15/07/2012 14:13

RB is horrid horrid horrid by the way

LOL @ fall asleep. I haven't fell asleep in the cinema...yet. I know people who have done so.

methsdrinker · 15/07/2012 17:26

cinema snoozing is an art, I have perfected.
I have nodded off in church,
I have slept in Tesco's carpark many a time with two small children also asleep.
It must have looked like a suicide pact but no-one knocked on th window to check so I think people must be used to it.
